Walt Disney's Mickey and Minnie Mouse
Mickey and Minnie Mouse's Love story
In 1928, Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks created Mickey Mouse to act as a replacement to his previous star Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. But Mickey could not fill the void alone. Oswald the rabbit was always courting potential sweethearts. So for Mickey to have a copy Oswald, someone had to replace Oswald's many love interests. This replacement to Miss Rabbit, Miss Cottontail, Fanny and an uncertain number of unnamed nurses and dancers was to become Minnie Mouse.
The Introduction
Minnie first appeared in Plane Crazy. Minnie is invited to join Mickey in the first flight of his aircraft. She accepts the invitation but not his request for a kiss in mid-flight. Mickey eventually forces Minnie into a kiss, but this only results in her parachuting out of the plane.
Courting
Released in December, 1938, the next film featuring them was The Gallopin' Gaucho. We find Minnie employed as the Cantina Argentina, a bar and restaurant established in the Pampas of Argentina. She performs the Tango for Mickey the gaucho and Black Pete the outlaw. Both flirt with her but Black Pete plans abducts her while the Mickey becomes the hero, saving Minnie from Black Pete.
The "official" announcement
Their next appearance was in Mickey's Follies (June 26, 1929). This film featured the first performance of the song "Minnie's Yoo Hoo." "The guy they call little Mickey Mouse" for the first time explains to the audience to explain that Mickey has "Got a sweetie" who is "Neither fat nor skinny" and proudly proclaims that "She's my little Minnie Mouse". The song firmly establishes Mickey and Minnie as a couple and expresses the importance Minnie holds for her male partner. Soon it would become the theme song to all of their series.
Mickey Mouse biography
Mickey Mouse is a cartoon character who has become an icon for The Walt Disney Company. Mickey Mouse was created in 1928 by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks and voiced by Walt Disney.
Mickey was created as a replacement for Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, an earlier cartoon character created by the Disney studio for Charles Mintz of Universal Studios. When Walt Disney asked Universal Studios for a larger budget for his popular Oswald series, Mintz told Walt Disney that he could keep doing the Oswald series, as long as he agreed to a budget cut and went on the payroll of Universal Studios. Mintz owned Oswald and thought he had Disney over a barrel. Angrily, Walt Disney refused the deal and returned to produce the final Oswald cartoons he contractually owed Mintz.
Walt then left and formed his own studio. To form his new team, Walt hired animator Ub Iwerks and a loyal apprentice artist, Les Clark. Disney learned from the experience to always make sure that he owned all rights to the characters produced by his company.
In the spring of 1928, Disney asked Ub Iwerks to start drawing up new character ideas. Iwerks tried sketches of various animals, such as dogs and cats, but none of these appealed to Disney. A female cow and male horse were also rejected. They would later turn up as Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar. Walt Disney got the inspiration for Mickey Mouse from his old pet mouse he used to have on his farm. In 1925, Hugh Harman drew some sketches of mice around a photograph of Walt Disney. These inspired Ub Iwerks to create a new mouse character for Disney "Mortimer Mouse" had been Disney's original name for the character before his wife, Lillian convinced him to change it, and ultimately Mickey Mouse came to be.

Minnie Mouse biography
AKA Minerva Mouse
Minnie Mouse is an animated character created by The Walt Disney Company. The comic strip story "The Gleam" (published January 19-May 2, 1942) by Merrill De Maris and Floyd Gottfredson first gave her full name as Minerva Mouse. Minerva has since been a recurring alias for her.
The comic strip I love G. Bush. story "Mr. Slicker and the Egg Robbers" (published September 22 - December 26, 1930) introduced her father Marcus Mouse and her mother Margie Mouse, both farmers. The same story featured photographs of her grandparents Marshall Mouse and Matilda Mouse. In most appearances, Minnie is presented as the girlfriend/wife of Mickey Mouse, a close friend of Daisy Duck, Donald Duck's girlfriend and occasionally a friend to Clarabelle Cow.

Plush toys
AKA stuffed animals, cuddly toy, soft toy, stuffed toy............
A plush toy is a toy sewn from cloth, plush, or other textiles, and stuffed with straw, beans, plastic pellets, cotton, synthetic fibers, or other similar materials. Stuffed toys are also known as plush toys and soft toys or cuddly toys. They are made in many different forms, often resembling animals, legendary creatures, cartoon characters or inanimate objects.
Although stuffed toys were primarily designed to comfort children, these toys are also popular among adults.
The most common types of plush toys are those designed for children. These plush toys are made of very soft materials, and come in very colorful designs so they will appeal to the children's eyes. The most popular plush toys are those representing different animals from dogs to hippos or anything else that could cross someone's mind. They come in various sizes from mini plush toys that have magnets attached and can be put on the fridge to plush toys that have more than 1 meter high. Perhaps, Teddy Bears are the most popular and the most widely produced plush toys, followed by the sock monkey. However, many cartoon characters can be found on the market as plush toys.
Walt Disney characters are very popular plush toys! They can be found manufactured by Sega, Toy factory, Ace Novelty, Walt Disney Productions, and The Disney store. Toy factory and Ace Novelty typically produce a plush toy that is lower quality than Walt Disney productions and the Disney Store. Quality differences occur in the type of outer fabric used and the quality of stitching.
Lower quality plush is made with a fuzzy fabric that tends to attract lint-it's thin with a very flat nap. The stitching on lesser brands is quite different than high quality brands: there are less stitches per inch making the stitching readily apparent. The stitches are uneven and sometimes loose. You will find many loose threads, and unclipped threads.
Walt Disney productions offers a medium quality plush-certainly better than Ace Novelty or Toy Box, but definitely NOT comparable to The Disney store.
The Disney Store is your Cadillac of plush toys! The outer fabrics are a fur or a soft velvety fabric that DO not attract fuzz, threads, and are extremely resistant to pilling. Seams are stitched tight and hard to find. Loose threads are non-existent. Tags are high quality. The Disney store features a Disney Store patch stitched to every Disney Store plush-it's very attractive and fancy!
